THE DEVELOPMENT

Three homes on Whiteman's Green — a location where homes like this rarely appear

Webster Cottages sits on Whiteman’s Green, directly opposite the recreation ground and play park. It is a hamlet within Cuckfield parish, and genuinely uncommon as a location for new homes. Cuckfield is an established Sussex village with a character that has largely resisted change: an independent high street, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the Ockenden Hotel, and the kind of setting where homes of this quality rarely appear.

The three homes are three storeys, each with three double bedrooms and three bathrooms — two en-suites and a family bathroom. The ground floor is open plan: entrance hall, cloakroom, and a kitchen and living space that opens fully onto the rear garden through bi-fold doors.

Kitchens are individually designed in pale grey with stone worktops and fully integrated Bosch appliances throughout — induction hob, oven and grill, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Each home also has its own storage outbuilding, providing practical covered space that is genuinely useful and not something typically found on a new build development of this size.

Two allocated parking spaces per home. Rear gardens of approximately 45 feet, with open field views beyond. From the top floor, views extend east across Cuckfield Golf Course toward the Ouse Valley.

All three homes sold off plan. Buyers who had seen what Remmus builds committed before the homes were finished.

Webster Cottages is sold.
