Birchwood

Birchwood is a private gated development of two three-bedroom detached homes, set within a designated conservation area in one of Burgess Hill’s most established residential neighbourhoods. This part of town occupies an elevated, leafy position that attracted discerning buyers from Brighton and beyond in the Victorian and Edwardian era. The mature trees, the character of the streets, and the quality of the existing housing stock have given it a permanence that newer parts of Burgess Hill don’t share.

Building within a conservation area means the design of these homes has been held to a higher standard than planning would typically demand.
